World Class Fitness in 100 Words!

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.

Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.

Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.

Regularly learn and play new sports.

Athlete Of  The Month is a section of our website that we LOVE and take great pride in updating. Everyday at our training facility each and every one of our athletes gives it there all. However, the Athlete of the Month is an athlete that truly evokes being “Better Than Yesterday” and training, eating and living life exceptionally!!!

Congratulations go out to Marcela, the May 2010 athlete of the month. Training and finally jumping on the BluePrint nutrition program has payed off. She dropped 2 pant sizes in less than a month and is looking phenomenal! Sky is the limit!!!

Congrats go out to Herbie, he is the June 2010 CFBP athlete of the month. Herbie has been with us for 4 months and during the time has transformed himself into a monster. He has shed over 50 pounds of fat and now  RX’s WOD’s on a daily basis! He is just getting out right NASTY these days. Keep it up buddy!

Congrats go out to Danny B for earning the title of athlete of the month for July!!! In the last month alone Danny went from 22% body fat to 16%… And this is adding to his incredible progress over the last three months. Hard work is paying off and he is getting NASTY these days. Keep up the good work!!!

From struggling with 65lb thrusters to cleaning 155 for reps and straight destroying WOD’s no one is more deserving for athlete of the month for August 2010 then Jorge Sosa. From that night at Sports Grille in ’09 when CFBP was only an idea, to training in our garage and a dirty old gym, sky is now the limit brother… Keep up the good work, CrossFit Games 2011 do not know what is in store for them!!!
